Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 2017

I came to Riyadh for the second time in two weeks and had a great time again. There was no sandstorm and it rained so one had a quite clear view which made the skyscrapers even more impressing. Its funny that everyone talks about such a restrictive country. In reality it seems like a much more liberal country. There are even women walking on the streets without a headscarf and holding shopping bags of Zara and Victorias Secret. On one hand this shows the controversy Saudi Arabians face in their culture and on the other hand how few people in Europe know about this country.

In the early evening we went on the Kingdom Tower which skybridge is in 300 metres height and has a gigantic view over Riyadh. Afterwards we went to a souq to buy Abayas and other traditional arabic stuff.
