Moscow, Russia 2017

Coming to Moscow for the second time in a month was great for the fact i had some more daytime to spend there. While the Metro worked perfectly and got us within minutes to the red square, the stations are attractions themselves. Every station looks like a cathedral built under the earth. This combined with 50 year old train coachs lets one fall back in time.

To our disappointment the red square itself was mostly closed for some parade-preparations. So we were only able to catch a glimpse through the glamorous “GUM” mall which covers one side of the red square. Every famous and expensive designer is represented with a store in this mall. They even have small ice cream and popcorn vendors inside.
