Since we had a full day off in Chennai, India, a few colleagues and myself decided to visit the town of Mahabalipuram which is well known for its old temples as well as the beautiful beaches towards the bay of Bengal.
We spent exhausting 3 hours visiting temples in the burning sun. The place was actually quite crowded by indian tourists and many intrusive beggars sat along the way. Afterwards our driver took us to a beautiful beach club where we relaxed in the tropical surrounding.
After sunset we made our way back to the Crewhotel in Chennai. Arriving there we met the rest of our Crew for a delicious dinner-buffet.
